The Judgement

Supreme success. Persevering furthers.

Pure creative force, initiative and unceasing self-renewal.

The Image

Heaven moves with strength; the noble one never ceases to strengthen himself.

This hexagram on ten matters

WorkCAREER
You are the initiating force here; lead rather than attach yourself to someone else's plan. But this hexagram runs from hidden dragon to arrogant dragon — the moment of completion is usually the moment to stop.
LoveRELATIONSHIP
You are the one who moves first. Say it directly, but do not mistake force for warmth; the other person needs room to answer.
MoneyFINANCE
Money made through your own initiative. Avoid leverage and chasing highs — the arrogant dragon is precisely that last step too far.
HealthBODY
High energy is when people overspend themselves. Full effort by day, watchful by night; restraint in routine matters more than any remedy.
StudyLEARNING
A sprint. Good for the hardest material. But hidden dragon, do not act sits in the same hexagram — rushing past weak foundations means repeating the work.
An examEXAM
Your ability is sufficient. The one trap here is overconfidence — the arrogant dragon. Do not cram through the night; being in good shape beats one more chapter.
PeopleSOCIAL
You are the one who convenes. Go and see the people worth seeing rather than waiting to be sought out.
A choiceDECISION
Decide, and decide yourself. The only question is which stage you are at: still hidden, or ready to fly.
TravelJOURNEY
Go, and go far. The schedule can be dense, but leave slack for the return.
A lost itemLOST ITEM
This hexagram is active and firm: the item was probably not left in place but carried somewhere by you. Retrace recent visits, especially higher or more formal places.

The Six Lines

Line 1

Hidden dragon. Do not act.

The time has not come and you are not yet seen. This dormancy is not failure; your scene has simply not started.

Line 2

Dragon appears in the field. It furthers one to see the great person.

You are becoming visible. This line is about showing up rather than head-down effort — go and meet the people worth meeting.

Line 3

All day the noble one is creatively active; at nightfall his mind is still beset. Danger, but no blame.

The join between the two trigrams, the most exposed position in the hexagram. Full effort by day, watchful at night; the wariness itself is what protects you.

Line 4

Wavering flight over the depths. No blame.

A position where either choice is legitimate. Leaping or not leaping has no standard answer; what matters is knowing why you would leap.

Line 5

Flying dragon in the heavens. It furthers one to see the great person.

Ability, timing and position all present. Build it out, and find someone of comparable standing to build it with.

Line 6

Arrogant dragon will have cause to repent.

You have gone too far. The only advice this line offers is to stop; every further step is repayment.

Nuclear · Opposite · Reverse

The nuclear hexagram shows the middle stretch of the matter; the opposite is the same situation seen from the reverse position; the reverse is the view from the other party's side.
