鸿渐于磐，饮食衎衎，吉。
The wild goose gradually draws near the cliff. Eating and drinking in peace and concord. Good fortune.
鸿渐于磐，饮食衎衎。落在磐石上，安稳地吃喝。此爻是渐卦里最舒服的一爻：站得稳，心里也定。
鸿渐于陆，夫征不复，妇孕不育，凶，利御寇。
The wild goose gradually draws near the plateau. The man goes forth and does not return. The woman carries a child but does not bring it forth. Misfortune.
鸿渐于陆。飞到不该停的高地。夫征不复妇孕不育：此爻的凶在越级，利御寇：守住就好。
鸿渐于木，或得其桷，无咎。
The wild goose gradually draws near the tree. Perhaps it will find a flat branch. No blame.
鸿渐于木，或得其桷。雁站在树上，勉强找到一根平枝。此爻不舒服但无咎：权宜之地也是地。
鸿渐于陵，妇三岁不孕，终莫之胜，吉。
The wild goose gradually draws near the summit. For three years the woman has no child. In the end nothing can hinder her. Good fortune.
鸿渐于陵，妇三岁不孕。到了高处却久久没有结果。终莫之胜吉：此爻教的是熬，熬过就成。
