吉。原筮，元永貞，无咎。不寧方來，後夫凶。
Good fortune. Inquire of the oracle once again whether you possess sublimity, constancy, and perseverance. Those who are uncertain gradually join.
眾志親附，宜及早誠意結盟。

地上有水，比；先王以建萬國，親諸侯。
On the earth is water; the kings of antiquity bestowed the different states and maintained friendly relations with the feudal lords.~

六爻爻辭
有孚比之，无咎。有孚盈缶，終來有它，吉。
Hold to him in truth and loyalty; this is without blame.
有孚比之，有孚盈缶。誠意足夠就會有意外的收穫。這一爻的關鍵字是真，不是巧。
比之自內，貞吉。
Hold to him inwardly. Perseverance brings good fortune.
比之自內，貞吉。從內心真正靠近，而非為了利益而靠。此時的關係是實的。
比之匪人。
You hold together with the wrong people.
比之匪人。跟錯人了。此爻無吉凶斷語，因為結果不言而喻：換一個對象。
外比之，貞吉。
Hold to him outwardly also. Perseverance brings good fortune.
外比之，貞吉。向外找對象是對的。此時不必侷限在原本的圈子裡。
顯比，王用三驅，失前禽，邑人不誡，吉。
Manifestation of holding together. In the hunt the king uses beaters on three sides only.
顯比，王用三驅失前禽。留一條路給人走。不趕盡殺絕，是這一爻的領導之道。
比之无首，凶。
He finds no head for holding together. Misfortune.
比之无首，凶。錯過了。從頭到尾沒有真正投入的人，到最後就沒有位置。
