Grand Duke, Year Breaker and Three Killings

Beyond the nine stars, traditional feng shui watches three directions each year: the Grand Duke (Tai Sui) sits in the direction of the year's branch, the Year Breaker opposite it, and the Three Killings follow the year branch's triple harmony: South in Shen-Zi-Chen years, North in Yin-Wu-Xu years, East in Si-You-Chou years and West in Hai-Mao-Wei years.
